The Whispering Shadows: Sensory Friendly Scare Series was born out of our dedication to bringing our brand of horror to more fans, who may have a hard time viewing our full shows for one reason or another.
During these two shows the Attraction will have minimal actors, and the ones we will have will be dedicated to being more of a guide in the areas they are in. They will still be in character and assist with storyline but they will not be actively trying to scare the guests. Additionally all the strobe lights will be turned off and the animatronic audio will be turned lower but still be active to help see the fullness of our show.
This is a great experience for anyone who found it too difficult to make their way through with our intense creatures in their faces, or for those who have conditions that make sensory overload a bit debilitating, but still love Halloween and Horror! During these nights we will also have the show creators Charles Brandt and Tammy Bodzianowski available to answer any questions on the midway.
For this series there are two different options, both being completely different storylines and show setups all together.
Whispering Shadows: Retribution {1993} - October 22nd, 7-9pm - This is the telling of the current main story at Nightmare Realm. The show will walk you through the life and demise of Trista, and then her rise to power with the Creatures of the Realm.
Whispering Shadows: AxeMas Lights Walkthrough - November 20th, 7-9pm - This is our Christmas show, just in time to transition between Halloween and the kickoff of the Holiday Season. Thousands of Christmas lights can be found around the town of Cypress Hollow, all due to Santa arriving in town to attempt to stop Trista and the Creatures of the Realm from completing the spreading of Evil.
